Healthnut Terms of Service

Provider and scope

Healthnut is provided by Bettag Systems UG (haftungsbeschränkt); full contact details are available in the legal notice. These terms govern the Healthnut website, iOS app, Share Extension, account and paid Premium workspace.

The service

Healthnut accepts links to public posts, videos, articles and studies and returns an evidence-oriented Healthcheck. The underlying public evidence is supplied by the separate Intelligence platform through an API. Availability, processing time, source access and evidence coverage can vary.

Healthnut is an information and research-navigation service. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnoses, treatment decisions, emergency assistance or personalized medical advice. Do not delay or replace professional care because of a Healthcheck.

Accounts and permitted use

You are responsible for access to your email account and for activity performed with your Healthnut session. Submit only sources that you may lawfully access and process. Automated abuse, security attacks, attempts to exceed limits, unlawful content and use that infringes third-party rights are prohibited.

You retain rights in information you submit. You grant us the limited right to process the submitted public URL and related technical data to provide, secure and improve the service. Public, de-personalized evidence may remain in Intelligence independently of your Healthnut account.

Free allowance and Premium

The free app includes a rolling allowance for genuinely new analyses. Cache hits and already-running analyses do not consume that allowance. Limits may be adjusted prospectively when necessary to operate the service fairly.

Healthnut Premium unlocks the web workspace for Healthchecks you liked, including deeper dossiers, comparison and print/PDF functions. Current prices and billing intervals are shown before checkout.

Payment, renewal and cancellation

Payments are processed by Mollie. A subscription renews for the selected interval until cancelled. You can cancel from the billing area; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Statutory withdrawal, refund and consumer rights remain unaffected.

Availability and evidence changes

We may maintain, change or discontinue features for security, legal or operational reasons. Scientific evidence changes over time. A Healthcheck reflects the sources and evidence available at the stated evidence date and may later be updated or superseded.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence, liability is limited to breach of essential contractual duties and foreseeable typical damage. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.

Ending use

You may delete your account in the app or web settings. We may restrict or terminate access where these terms are materially breached or where required for security or law. Details on deletion and retained public evidence are explained in the privacy policy.

Changes and law

Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable manner. German law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. Statutory rules determine jurisdiction.
