Everyday questions. A closer look at the evidence.

Does collagen really help your skin?

Is intermittent fasting better than eating less?

Can you slow down ageing?

Your Healthcheck puts the claim in context.

What is being claimed?
The specific, checkable statements in the source.
What supports it?
How strong the evidence is, and where findings disagree.
What remains uncertain?
Missing evidence, limitations and the context that matters.

Example questions, not analysis results. Submit a public source in the app to check its claims.

  1. Share the link

Use the share menu on your iPhone or paste a public URL into Healthnut. An article, video, post, podcast page or study can be your starting point.

  2. Read the check

Once the analysis is ready, read how the factual claims are supported and where the evidence is mixed or missing. Not every source can be accessed or contains checkable claims.

  3. Keep useful checks

Like a Healthcheck to save it to your personal collection. With Premium, open its detailed dossier on the web and compare it with other saved checks.

Understand the evidence behind the answer.

A Healthcheck shows how a claim fits the available evidence. It also makes room for disagreement and unanswered questions.

Supported
The available evidence supports the claim in the context examined.
Mixed
Findings differ, or the answer depends on the conditions.
Contradicted
The available evidence speaks against the claim.
Insufficient evidence
There is not enough evidence for a reliable assessment. That does not automatically make a claim false.

The details change what a claim means.

Was something studied in people, animals or a laboratory? Does the evidence address this exact claim? Detailed Premium dossiers let you inspect the sources and context behind a check.

Healthnut checks public claims. It does not diagnose symptoms or recommend treatments for you.

What can I check with Healthnut?

Factual health claims in public articles, posts, videos, podcast pages and studies. Share the source URL in the iPhone app. Access restrictions or a lack of checkable claims can prevent an analysis.

Can I enter symptoms or ask for personal advice?

Healthnut works with public source links. It is not a symptom checker and does not provide diagnoses, treatment recommendations or personal medical advice.

Is every result a definite yes or no?

No. Evidence can be mixed, limited or missing. Healthnut shows uncertainty alongside the assessment. An automated analysis can also make mistakes; use the sources and context to understand the result.

Can I check a link directly on this website?

Source submission and everyday checks take place in the iPhone app. This website provides account access and the Premium workspace for detailed dossiers of the Healthchecks you have liked.

What happens when my daily allowance is used up?

Existing results and analyses already in progress remain free. A new source can still be forwarded for analysis, but that submission will not create a visible Healthcheck in your account when your allowance is exhausted.

Who receives the source I share?

Healthnut sends the source URL, chosen language, a random request ID and an analysis permission flag to the Intelligence service. It does not add your account ID, email address or subscription details. Only share public sources, not private documents or links containing personal information.
